Spring Candle Drop 2026: Moodboards, Fragrance Notes & Scent Profiles

When I create the custom fragrance blends for each seasonal drop, before the wax is poured and the fragrances are finalized, there are visuals that take shape in my mind - colors, textures, atmospheres, lighting, scenery…. And I’ve always thought about creating a moodboard for each fragrance to share a little insight into both my creative thought process and to give you another descriptive representation of each fragrance - because I know a written description sometimes just isn’t enough. 

So - think of this as a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind each fragrance, and a way to experience them before you ever shop or strike a match!

Bamboo Orris

Notes: Coconut, Orris, Sandalwood, Violet, Musk

Sea-kissed bamboo and subtle coconut milk open into soft orris, violet, and sandalwood. Light, layered, and spa-like with a refined floral core.

Vanilla Grapefruit

Notes: Grapefruit, Vanilla, Mango, Sugar

Bright, sun-ripened grapefruit softened with smooth, comforting vanilla. This scent is citrus-forward but rounded, blending juicy freshness with a creamy finish.

Midnight Drift

Notes: Marine, Vetiver, Amber, Lavender, Musk

Dark marine air and lavender drift into moss, vetiver, and warm ambered woods. This coastal, refined fragrance captures the stillness of the shoreline just after dusk.

Golden Teak

Notes: Amaretto, Tobacco, Sandalwood, Leather, Tonka Bean

Rich teakwood and warm tonka bean meet hints of rum, amber, and soft musk. Golden Teak is smooth, slightly spiced, and deeply grounding. A warm wood scent with a subtle glow.

Elderberry Oak

Notes: Elderberry, Oak, Green Tea, Raspberry, Vanilla

A refined take on nature’s bounty, Elderberry Oak combines lush sweetness and tartness of elderberry nectar with the grounding notes of oak and vanilla. This sophisticated take on a berry fragrance is intriguing and vibrant.

Botanic Grove

Notes: Gin, Cypress, Cedarwood, Amber, Oakmoss

Picture a walk through a grove of trees with California wildflowers growing all around and you have Botanic Grove. This crisp and earth scent blends gin, cypress and cedarwood with just hints of amber for a smooth, resinous depth.
